About Me I am very excited to welcome you into my second grade classroom! I hope you have enjoyed your summer and are just as thrilled as I am for school to be starting fairly soon! I am sending you this letter to not only welcome you, but to introduce myself and share with you my expectations for the upcoming school year.
My name is Nicole DeMarte and this is my fifth year teaching at SVRCS! I am a Lock Haven University graduate with a certification for K-6th grade. Although this is only my fifth year in my very own classroom, I have spent over 9 years in an educational setting. I have spent the previous years teaching summer programs and substituting both short and long term in surrounding school districts. Prior to joining the SVRCS team, I was the Director of the School Age Program at MOM’S INC in Lock Haven where I created, taught, and facilitated an after school curriculum aligned to Pennsylvania standards for kindergarten through fourth grade students. I am confident that you will find me to be a sharp, dedicated, flexible, and nurturing educator who is well-qualified to provide the motivation and direction that your child needs to become a high achieving learner. I am eager to establish positive relationships with not only my students, but their families, and the surrounding community. |
The students have created our set of class rules. They feel each one of these rule are appropriate and necessary.
1. Be Respectful 2. Follow Directions 3. Be Prepared 4. Keep All Hands, Feet, and Objects to Yourself 5. Have a Positive Attitude |
